Wood Flooring Repair
Don Hanna Wood Floors implements a wide variety of methods, techniques, tools, talent, and experience to patch or repair damaged wood floors.
Our goal is to listen carefully to our customers to fully understand what they want done, and to provide quality workmanship.
Before
You can clearly see where the repair needed to be made.
Planning
We decided to weave (or “lace”) the new flooring all the way to the corner.
After
The repair is finished, the damaged portion replaced, and the repair is seamless.
Before
A closet door will hide this joint once the repair is finished, so the customer was satisfied with a “butt” patch.
After
The closet door will hide the seam, saving our customer the expense of weaving new flooring into the existing pattern.
Before
Some damage had occurred, so we removed the affected portion of the floor.
During
The new flooring has been laced into the existing pattern.
After
The finished repair after sanding and finishing.
Before
The water stains in this floor were too deep to sand out and needed to be replaced.
During
We cut away the stained area in order to weave the new flooring into the repair.
After
The finished repair after sanding and finishing. The new portion matches the existing floor perfectly.
